Saucer Swings

 

 When I was in the ES, there was this thing called the Saucer Swing where you could ride with up to 2-4 people.  I said it was  because it isn’t there anymore:(.  In its place now there are normal swings instead of the  Saucer Swings.  When  I first  went on it was metallic it felt cool when it was hot  and was shaped like an upside down UFO. There were two gray wirings on the side. When it was time for recess  it was like I was in a very famous amusement park filled with family and friends.

There are rules in order to ride theSwing though like, you HAD to count to 60 sec and when you were done you had to yell “60!!” to the people  who were riding the Swing. You could ride with your buddies/friends.Once when I was coming down from the 3rd grade stairs there were a lot of people just piled onto each other  on both of the swings like a messy stack of  pancakes piled on top of each other. Then I heard a squeak. The next day at recess there was some caution tape around both of the Swings.

In the end it got taken away and then it got replaced and I never saw it again.  If you can’t follow the rules then you can’t have fun.
